The new EP from IRRITANT, “Good Evening from the Machine”, is set to make waves across the industry. In just one month, excerpts from the EP have received over 6000 plays on MySpace alone.

During the last four years IRRITANT have cultivated a unique musical style. They are successfully blending the best features of classic metal and progressive rock with a young fresh take on these legendary genres. With a series of successful independent releases, they have built a strong and loyal following. These include the “Old Bones” EP, selling in excess of 1000 copies without mainstream distribution. The video twinned with this release was also featured on Scuzz TV.

In addition to a hardcore local fan base, the bands energetic live show has earned them nationwide admiration. They have shared the stage with bands such as Enter Shikari. This culminated in IRRITANT being crowned “Best Band in the South West”; overcoming 15 of the regions best undiscovered musical talents in the Global Battle of The Bands.

IRRITANT are currently consulting with the legendary producer Vic Coppersmith-Heaven (The Jam/Black Sabbath/Rolling Stones).
